HEALTH
HIV /Aids being a pandemic and national disaster, CCA has a plan to role out a program to educate the community about the importance of going to VCT to know their status. Many people does not go to VCT centers due to fear of know what they are. This fear increases chances of many spreading the virus to others and also reducing their life longevity. Once a person know his/her status, she /he can protect himself /herself and others.

Those who go for VCT can live longer than those who fear or refuse to know their status and yet they are at high risk. The best way to fight HIV/AIDS is to know your status. Knowing your status is the foundation of winning the war against the disease. Camp Counselors Africa has started a vigorous program of training HIV/AIDS peer educators who will educate and enlighten the community about the importance of VCT and other preventive measures. They will also sensitize them about Home Based Care for the infected and affected people.

CCA is mooting a comprehensive program plan of establishing VCT centers in Villages, Towns, and other places to realize the above goal.  The fight against HIV/AIDS pandemic is not for one person; organization or government .It is a collective responsibility.
For us to realize our objective, we need your support and encouragement. Together we can win the war against HIV/ AIDS.
